William Wallace (known as Will) is an Administrative Assistant and Paralegal supporting the Matrimonial and Trust & Estate Practice Groups at Bousquet Holstein’s Ithaca office.
Will handles a wide range of responsibilities that ensure cases move forward efficiently. He manages client intake, fields phone calls, arranges service of legal papers, files court documents, and maintains well-organized case files. He works closely with attorneys Jon Orkin and Laura Hedge, contributing to client matters with care, responsiveness, and precision. In addition, he drafts legal documents—particularly for matrimonial matters—and supports the Trust & Estate team by preparing basic documents and attending will signings. He also takes notes during client conferences, conducts occasional legal research, and analyzes financial records to support attorneys in making informed decisions.
Throughout his work, Will is known for his calm professionalism, reliability, and collaborative approach. He brings a strong sense of ethics to everything he does. For him, producing timely, high-quality work is more than a professional obligation—it’s a direct way to improve outcomes for clients.
Moreover, his attention to detail and strong writing skills enhance the clarity and consistency of legal communications. His contributions help ensure that attorneys are well-prepared and that clients feel supported every step of the way.
Will is especially attuned to the client experience. He takes the time to listen, recognizing that many individuals are unfamiliar with legal procedures and may feel overwhelmed. Rather than rushing interactions, he offers guidance with patience and empathy. He understands that behind every case is a person facing a deeply personal challenge.
Outside of the office, Will remains active in Ithaca’s vibrant theatre scene. His love of storytelling, collaboration, and presence continues to enrich his personal life—and positively influences his work in law.
