
Kimberly Loura, known as Kim, is experienced paralegal supporting the Trusts and Estates and Employee Benefits Practice Groups. he plays a key role in managing a wide range of complex and detail-oriented matters. Her responsibilities include administering estates and trusts, preparing estate tax returns, and filing fiduciary income tax returns. She also develops detailed estate and trust accountings and contributes to the preparation of Form 5500 filings for employee benefit plans.
With more than 16 years of hands-on experience in estate and trust administration, Kim brings a deep understanding of fiduciary processes. Her work reflects a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and care. Whether she’s handling tax documents, working with clients, or coordinating with attorneys, Kim delivers reliable support and thoughtful insight at every stage.
Kim launched her career at HSBC Bank USA, where she built her foundation in trust and estate services. Over the years, she progressed to the role of Vice President and Trust Officer in the Trust Administration Center in Syracuse. Her time at HSBC allowed her to gain both technical expertise and a practical understanding of the legal and financial intricacies involved in administering trusts and estates. This experience continues to inform and enhance her current work.
Beyond her legal and financial experience, Kim is also deeply committed to education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Secondary Mathematics. After earning her degree, she spent five years teaching math at the middle and high school levels. Her passion for helping others understand complex topics eventually led her to higher education. Today, she serves as an adjunct faculty member at Bryant & Stratton College, where she teaches college-level mathematics courses.
