Casey has considerable experience working with the firm’s Brownfield Practice, focusing on the tax incentives available through the NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program. Casey can help prepare your Brownfield Tax Credit Claim and respond to any subsequent desk audit to help you get your credit claim approved. Casey can help you challenge a disallowed Brownfield Tax Credit Claim.
Title IX
For victims of sexual harassment or assault on a college campus, Casey can help prepare a successful Title IX claim. Casey is experienced in preparing appropriate legal responses and will serve as your trusted advisor in the Title IX process.
Experience
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Casey was a Staff Attorney for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. He has also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Andrew T. Baxter, U.S. Magistrate Judge, and as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Margaret Cangilos-Ruiz, U.S. Bankruptcy Court. This experience provides Casey with a fundamental understanding of the legal process, which he applies to the concerns and considerations of his clients.
Born and raised in Utah, Casey has put down roots in Central New York and is a resident of the developing Near Westside. Casey is enthusiastic about this community which provides him with opportunities to give back and make an impact where he lives and works.
