

Bousquet Holstein PLLC is pleased to announce that recent hires Marisa Maroney and Nicholas Schmitt have been officially admitted to the New York State Bar.
Marisa is an Associate and will focus primarily on Matrimonial and Family Law matters.
Marisa received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law where she served as a Student Attorney at the Criminal Defense Clinic and worked as Law Clerk for a local law firm. She excelled in International Human Rights & Disability Law throughout her studies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Elmira College. Marissa joined the firm in September 2024.
Nicholas is an Associate working with the firm's Brownfield, Corporate, Litigation and Real Estate Practice Groups.
Nick received his Juris Doctor from University at Buffalo School of Law. During his studies, he served as the Assistant Chairperson of the Conquest Planning Board for three years.
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Nick was a Summer Associate with the firm, where he supported attorneys in several practice areas, including litigation, trusts and estates, taxation, insurance, and other civil matters. He was also an active member of his law school’s trial team, participating in mock trial competitions across the county. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from the State University of New York College at Oswego.
