Bousquet Holstein PLLC is pleased to welcome attorney Daniel J. Berkowitz to the firm's Litigation Practice Group.

Daniel is an Associate at the firm and will focus his practice on commercial, business, and real estate litigation matters. He will practice out of the firm's Syracuse office.

Daniel joins the firm after serving as a public interest attorney at Legal Services of Central New York, Inc., where he predominately represented individuals in landlord-tenant matters. In addition, he has experience forming new business entities and defending against trademark infringement claims.

Daniel earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law where he became a member of the Justinian Honor Society and received academic recognitions in the areas of Professional Responsibility, Media and Communications Law, Internet Law, and European Union Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Daniel served as an operative and consultant for political campaigns and candidates ranging from the municipal to the presidential level. During this period, he delivered a guest lecture on campaign field operations to students enrolled in Northwestern University's course entitled “Women and American Political Leadership .” In 2022, Daniel presented his paper on political campaign finance reform to the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication's Annual Conference.
