Daniel is an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Practice Group, with a focus on commercial, business, and real estate litigation. Daniel’s diverse range of experience includes complex class actions; landlord-tenant litigation; contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution; and new business formations.
While serving as a public interest attorney, Daniel commenced some of the first Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law Article 7-D petitions seeking court orders directing repairs for substandard conditions. Article 7-D of the RPAPL, which the Tenant Dignity and Safe Housing Act implemented, took effect on December 30, 2023.
Daniel grew up in north suburban Chicago, where he attended public schools before earning his B.A. in Political Science at DePaul University. Daniel moved to New York for law school, graduating cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to joining the legal profession, Daniel served as an operative and consultant for political campaigns and candidates ranging from the municipal to the presidential level.
