Shelley B. Love

Shelley Love is a paralegal in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate Practice Group at Bousquet Holstein’s Ithaca office. She brings over 23 years of experience to the team and has built a reputation for efficiency and reliability.

Throughout her career, Shelley has managed hundreds of real estate closings each year. She works closely with mortgage lenders and clients to keep deals moving. Her calm approach, combined with precise document preparation, helps prevent delays and reduce stress at the closing table.

Clients quickly notice her deep knowledge of home buying, selling, and mortgaging. As a result, she often anticipates issues before they arise and keeps transactions on track. Her experience benefits both residential and commercial clients alike.

Before joining Bousquet Holstein, Shelley spent 12 years with Marcus Orkin Tesi LLP in Ithaca, New York. During that time, she worked closely with Randall B. Marcus and Virginia A. Tesi. When they joined Bousquet Holstein, she transitioned with them and remains an essential member of their real estate team.

Shelley holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Tompkins Cortland Community College. There, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Oswego, where she double-majored in American Studies and History.

While at SUNY Oswego, Shelley joined Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity. Through this group, she volunteered for Adopt-A-Highway, offered pet therapy at local nursing homes, and partnered with police to create child safety ID kits.

Outside the office, Shelley enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the scenic trails and waterfalls of the Finger Lakes Region with her family and friends.
