Olivia Murphy is a law school graduate assisting our Litigation Practice Group while she awaits the results of the New York State Bar Exam.
Background
Olivia joins the firm after completing our Summer Associate program in 2024, where she supported attorneys with research and analysis for litigation and family court matters. She also worked as a Law & Trial Clerk with a local firm, preparing legal documents, memoranda of law, and motions — further sharpening her legal writing and procedural knowledge.
While in law school, Olivia served as Associate Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and Secretary of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Her commitment to public interest work was evident through her service as a student public defender in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where she helped represent clients in local courts. She also volunteered with Syracuse’s Animal Abuse Court, advocating for victims of animal cruelty, and supported investigative research as a case volunteer for the Cold Case Justice Initiative.
