Lowell A. Seifter serves as Of Counsel to Bousquet Holstein PLLC, working part-time on select matters. He brings decades of experience in health law, business law, and commercial real estate back to the firm.
Notably, Lowell was a founding member of Green & Seifter Attorneys, PLLC – now Bousquet Holstein PLLC – where he practiced law from 1977 through 2011.
From 2012 to 2018, he served as General Counsel for St. Joseph's Hospital. There, he focused on health law, business law, and real estate matters. Then, from 2019 to 2020, he served as Senior Counsel for Trinity Health, the parent company of St. Joseph’s.
Lowell earned a B.S. degree cum laude from Syracuse University and a J.D. degree magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. He contributes technical expertise, leadership, and deep knowledge of the Central New York and Adirondack markets.
Over the past 17 years, Lowell has served on the boards of three publicly traded banks. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for NBT Bank. In addition, he is a board member of Housing Visions in Syracuse, New York. Previously, he served on the board of the View Center for Arts and Culture in Old Forge, New York. He also has extensive experience with several other nonprofit boards.
Lowell is both an attorney and a non-practicing certified public accountant.
