One of the most important estate planning decisions a person makes is choosing a trustee; the person who will carry out the terms of a trust established during lifetime or after death. For many clients, a member of the family is the appropriate choice, but for those clients who need or prefer an independent fiduciary, our attorneys often serve in the capacity of trustee.
