Christi Pyle-Smith

Christi serves as a Paralegal in the Litigation Practice Group. Christi assists attorneys within the firm with any and all aspects of State and Federal litigation processes. She is involved with preparing cases from the commencement of an action through the post-trial appeal process.

Experience

Prior to joining our firm, Christi had been working as a paralegal for over 13 years. She has a vast array of experience in multiple practice areas, some resulting from her time serving the City of Syracuse as a Paralegal in the Office of the Corporation Counsel. There, she assisted attorneys with City, State and Federal litigation along with transactional matters, while also investigating, processing and reviewing the City’s Notices of Claims.

Community

Outside of the office, Christi is very active in the community. She volunteers and participates in events for organizations such as Syracuse First, Syracuse New Times, Onondaga Historical Association, Aids Community Resources, and Downtown Committee of Syracuse. Christi also co-hosts #takeatour, a local television show that features places and fun facts to help expose all that our area has to offer. In January of 2015 Christi was featured in Syracuse Woman Magazine as a woman who inspires.

Education

Christi has earned a Bachelor of Science from the State University College at Brockport where she dual majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She has also completed training with the State of New York Division of Criminal Justice Services in Interview and Interrogation. She is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association.  Christi is also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
