Autumn Burgin is an Associate attorney at Bousquet Holstein PLLC, and works with the firm's Corporate, Trusts & Estates and Litigation Practice Groups.
Background
Autumn earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where she gained recognition for her excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. During her time at Syracuse, she served as Vice President of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) and was a dedicated member of the Trial Team throughout law school. As a result of her strong courtroom performance, she won the Regional Championship at the 2023 Northeast Mock Trial Competition and received the Best Cross Examination Award in 2022.
Moreover, Autumn’s deep passion for the law propelled her into several leadership roles. She was elected 3L Class Vice President of the Student Bar Association and took on the role of Communications Director for the Advocacy Honor Society. Additionally, she served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Science and Technology (JOST), where she published her Note. She also worked as a Senior Research Associate in the Syracuse University Innovation Law Practicum, contributing to cutting-edge legal scholarship.
Upon graduation, Autumn received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. She also earned induction into the Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization that recognizes exceptional student advocates.
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein as an Associate, Autumn completed the firm’s Summer Associate Program. Earlier in her academic journey, she graduated summa cum laude from Le Moyne College with a bachelor’s degree in political science, along with minors in philosophy and legal studies.
