Each year the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County (VLP) recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions in providing pro bono legal services. This year, Bousquet Holstein is being honored as a Pro Bono Champion award winner for their work in response to COVID-19, especially stepping up to help local small businesses and responding to other COVID-19 VLP client needs such as eviction defense.

In addition, Bousquet Holstein Attorney, Rebecca R. Cohen, has also been selected as a Pro Bono Champion award winner for her work in the VLP immigration program.

There will be a virtual  fundraiser, Cheers for a Cause, where all award winners and their contributions will be recognized. The event will take place on Thursday, September 24,at 6:30 PM. Ray Isle, Executive Editor of Food & Wine Magazine will be facilitating a fun, engaging program. Congratulations to everyone who has supported VLP in their efforts to provide equal access to justice to those in need.
