Mazaher (Mazzy) Kaila

Bousquet Holstein PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Mazaher Kaila has been admitted to practice law in New York State.

Mazaher is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, and Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mazaher took part in the firm’s Summer Associates Program where she assisted with litigation, business, and immigration matters. She has interned at a variety of legal offices where she developed her passion to assist clients.

Mazaher earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law where she served as the Student Bar Association Executive President, Business Editor for the Journal of International Law and Commerce and President of the Black Law Students Association. For her extraordinary service and contributions throughout her studies, she received the Paul Shipman Andrews Award from Syracuse Law and the Seely Johnson Award.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. She is a Benjamin A. Gilman Scholars Alumni, having studied religion, law, and human rights in France. She also visited Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand while studying technology used by the world’s largest tech corporations. Mazaher is from Sudan, and she grew up in Syracuse, NY.
