Syracuse, NY – Bousquet Holstein PLLC is pleased to announce that Gwen Z. Gou will be joining the firm in September as an Associate Attorney, and Michael Tyszko will be participating in the firm’s Summer Associate Program.

Gwen Gou will be concentrating her practice in areas of Business Law. She will be graduating from Cornell Law School in May. Gwen is an Article Editor and elected Member of the Board of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and serves as Competition Chair of the Alternative Dispute Society. Gwen is also on the Cornell External and International Moot Court team and competed for Cornell Law School with two teammates at NYU Law School in February 2013. She is a 2010 Graduate from Washington University in St. Louis where she was an Eliot Scholar and a Hirsch Family Scholarship recipient with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics. Gwen participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2013 and has served as a summer intern at the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark – Immigration Services. She is a native of Jiangsu Province, China.

Michael Tyszko is a J.D. candidate at Syracuse University College of Law, where he recently was elected Editor-In-Chief for next year’s Syracuse Law Review. A native of Syracuse, Mike serves on the College of Law’s Pro Bono Advisory Board where he coordinates volunteer opportunities for law students. He also has served as a graduate research assistant to two Syracuse law professors and was judicial intern to U.S. Magistrate Judge David E. Peebles of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York during the summer of 2013. Before entering law school, Mike managed a small business and also worked in sales and customer service. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Michigan where he was a Stamps Scholar with a B.M. in Music Education.
