Bousquet Holstein is pleased to announce that Attorney Susan R. Katzoff has been appointed Corporation Counsel for the City of Syracuse by Mayor Ben Walsh.
Sue has extensive experience representing industrial development agencies (IDAs) and local development corporations (LDCs) in public finance transactions throughout New York State, advising her clients on a wide variety of issues including the General Municipal Law, the Public Authorities Law and the latest pronouncements and audit findings of the NYS Authorities Budget Office. She has served as outside counsel to the City of Syracuse Industrial Development Agency (SIDA), since 2007.
As Corporation Counsel, Sue will head the Department of Law, which manages the legal affairs of the City of Syracuse. The department handles the City’s litigation, legislative drafting, contracting, real estate transactions, collections, and a wide variety of other legal matters.

Sue will be Of Counsel to Bousquet Holstein during her tenure as Corporation Counsel and will continue to perform work for her clients.
