Matrimonial / Family Law Attorney (Ithaca)

Bousquet Holstein seeks an attorney for its Matrimonial/Family Law group. This position will be located in Ithaca, NY.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of matrimonial and family law litigation experience. Real Estate Paralegal (Ithaca)

Bousquet Holstein PLLC seeks a full-time experienced real estate paralegal to join its growing real estate law practice. 

The position involves working with attorneys, other paralegals, administrative support staff, and directly with clients in connection with residential and commercial real estate purchase, sale, and financing transactions, and performing other real estate-related assignments and tasks.

The ideal candidate has work experience with a law firm, lender, or in-house legal team in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and manage residential real estate and complex commercial real estate transactions on a day-to-day basis, from inception to completion
  • Prepare, draft, and edit typical commercial real estate transaction documents, including mortgages, leases, deeds, assignments, releases, title affidavits, transfer forms, related corporate authorization documents, and post-closing documents, including closing binders
  • Draft real estate title insurance commitments for review with attorneys
  • Coordinate and resolve issues with title companies, surveyors, lenders, real estate agents, and transaction parties
  • Analyze and interpret real property due diligence materials, records, and documents, including appraisals, surveys, abstracts of title, judgment and lien searches, and tax records
  • Analyze and interpret entity due diligence materials, records, and documents, including LLC operating agreements, corporation bylaws, trust documents, entity certificates, and other records
  • Assist with estate planning real estate conveyances, such as conveyances to irrevocable and revocable trusts


  • Prior real estate transaction experience
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing work priorities on an as-needed basis
  • Possess good organizational skills, judgment, and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Professional, courteous, attentive to detail, and delivery of high quality client service

Marketing Coordinator

Bousquet Holstein PLLC is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator that will work in our Syracuse office. The ideal candidate has work experience providing online media marketing support, creating advertising and publications, developing email marketing campaigns, and writing articles, news releases and announcements. This position supports all aspects of the firm’s marketing, communications, and business development efforts.

The coordinator requires strong writing skills, an eye for design, and the highest standards for accuracy and detail. The Marketing Coordinator works directly with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to achieve firm marketing and business development goals for the firm.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  1. Implementing web-based marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns, social media engagement, online referral source activities for lawyers, PPC/Google AdWords campaigns, etc.
  2. Content creation and management – social media posts, articles, alerts, white papers, blog posts, video clips, webinars, etc.
  3. Providing consistent and frequent website updates, interactive links, and developing ideas for expanding content and client engagement.
  4. Creating client connections through database management, email campaigns and business surveys.
  5. Research new and emerging technology and marketing resources to drive visibility and brand recognition for firm, practice groups, and attorneys.
  6. Track website and online marketing initiatives through industry analytics and adjust messages, content, and focus as needed.

Marketing Coordinator Profile 

  • College degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, and/or communications or the equivalent in work experience.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in a professional service environment (law, accounting, medical) or in an advertising/marketing/public relations firm.
  • Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
  • Experience in researching topics, writing, and editing content for websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, articles, and collateral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress CMS, and email marketing platforms
  • Expertise with search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns
  • Experience reviewing web analytics, tracking, and calculating campaign returns on investments (ROI)
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Team oriented attitude and commitment to be an active participant in firm culture, maintains composure and is adaptable to the changing needs of practice areas, attorneys, and the firm.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work assignments under tight deadlines, make independent decisions, and collaborate effectively with professionals.
